Deposit
A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of booking confirmation. This deposit will be deducted from your final balance.
Failure to receive the deposit within the 24-hour window will result in the booking being unconfirmed, and the event date will be made available to other clients.
The remaining balance is due no later than 1 week before the event date.
Please note, the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to event cancellations, COVID-related disruptions, or other unforeseen issues.Booking Policy
After a deposit is made and services are confirmed, adjustments to the quantity of services booked cannot be accommodated, and refunds will not be issued for any reductions. This policy safeguards the financial integrity of our small business, as sudden adjustments result in significant losses. I appreciate your understanding.
Minimum Call-Out:
For all bridal bookings, a minimum call-out fee of $1000 applies to wedding day services. This fee does not include the bridal trial or any early start fees, which are charged separately.Cancellations
Wedding Bookings
In the event of a wedding cancellation, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. However, the booking fee may be transferred to a new wedding date (subject to availability) or applied as credit towards future makeup services.
If a credit is issued from a cancelled wedding booking, it may be used towards future makeup services and must be redeemed within 12 months from the original wedding date. Any extension beyond this timeframe will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations made within 3 months of the event date will require full payment, regardless of the reason. As a small business, cancellations significantly impact our operations, and your understanding is appreciated.
Event Makeup Bookings
In the event of an event makeup cancellation, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. However, the booking fee may be transferred to a new date (subject to availability) or applied as credit towards future makeup services.
If a credit is issued from a cancelled event makeup booking, it may be used towards future makeup services and must be redeemed within 6 months from the original appointment date. Any extension beyond this timeframe will be considered on a case-by-case basis.Early Fee
Appointments before 7:00am will incur an additional fee of $50 for every hour before 7:00am.For example: 4:00am/4:30am start: $150
Travel/Parking
Clients are responsible for all travel fees and parking costs associated with mobile services, including valet and street parking.
For hotel appointments, clients are required to arrange valet parking for the Makeup Artist.Any valet parking charges will be the responsibility of the client and will be charged to the client if incurred.
For appointments at Makeup Artist's home studio, please park on the curb and DO NOT park in the driveway or on the grass.Appointment Rules
For home studio appointments, clients are expected to arrive on time or up to 5 minutes early. Please respect the artist's time as well as the time of other clients.
Strictly NO guests or visitors are allowed. Due to space limitations in my home studio, I cannot accommodate additional guests. Thank you for your understanding.
For mobile bookings, the makeup artist may arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time to set up the kit and ensure a prompt start.
Phones During Appointment
If possible, please kindly refrain from using your phone during the appointment so we can stay focused and make the most of our time together. Of course, if you need to respond to something urgent or would like to show me inspiration photos, please feel free to do so. Thank you!
Makeup Schedule
Please ensure everyone is seated and focused in the makeup chair on time to avoid delays. Any tasks should be completed beforehand to keep the schedule on track.Late Arrival Policy
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may incur a late arrival fee of $30. Arrivals exceeding 30 minutes may result in cancellation of the appointment or the need to reschedule to an alternative date.Booking Amendments
Please ensure all booking details are confirmed as early as possible. Any changes to the booking, including the schedule, location, or services, must be requested in writing and are subject to the Makeup Artist's availability. Additional fees may apply depending on the nature of the changes requested.Client Allergies Disclosure
Clients are encouraged to disclose any makeup allergies or sensitivities prior to the appointment. This allows me to select suitable products and minimise the risk of allergic reactions or skin sensitivities. Your safety and comfort are my top priorities.
Preparation for Your Appointment
Reference photos: If you haven't already, please email me your top 3 favourite makeup looks from my Instagram or DM them to me at @tiansoon_makeup before your appointment. This helps ensure we're on the same page and have a clear vision for your desired look.
Bare Face Photo: Please provide a photo of your bare face to help achieve your desired look promptly.
Makeup Preparation:Makeup Prep: Please arrive with a clean, bare face so we can begin your makeup application promptly. For best results, ensure your skin is well moisturised and avoid introducing any new skincare products close to your appointment to minimise the risk of irritation or reactions.
Coloured Contacts (Highly Recommended): For Douyin or Thai makeup looks, brown or grey contact lenses are highly recommended to enhance the effect. If your reference photos show models wearing lenses, wearing them will help achieve a similar look. I recommend Hapa Kristin "Sugar High Kristin".Photo & Video Consent
By signing this Agreement, the Client consents to Tian Soon Makeup photographing and/or recording video during the appointment for portfolio, marketing, advertising, website, and social media purposes.
If the Client does not wish to be photographed, recorded, or have any content shared, they must notify Tian Soon Makeup before the appointment, either in writing or verbally. As a courtesy, consent will also be confirmed again on the day before any photos or videos are taken.
If no objection is raised before or at the commencement of the appointment, the Client's signed Agreement will be taken as confirmation of their consent to the photography, videography, and use of such content for the purposes outlined above.
Tian Soon Makeup is not responsible for any photos or videos taken by third parties, including guests, photographers, videographers, or other vendors.
